In 2008 a blog on comicbookresources.com ranked the top 100 comic runs of all time (http://goodcomics.comicbookresources.com/2008/04/18/the-top-100-comic-book-runs-master-list/).  Having come across this list I picked out all the titles of interest to me and decided to read them all.  Here is that list:

But that’s just the beginning.  Because after that I intend to read the entirety of Claremont’s run on Uncanny X-Men, the first Nightwing ongoing, and Flash #104 through the end of Geoff John’s first run on Flash Vol. 2.  Hell I may throw in more as I go.  There’s no particular order to how I’ll read this.

It’s a lot of material to read.  And it’s going to take a long time to get through it all.  But this is the mission, and this blog, my log.
